Street Fighter II Turbo – The Novel was produced in 1993 by Impact Magazines (UK) and given away free with the August issue of SNES Force, the short-lived UK Super Nintendo magazine. It was polybagged with the magazine and never sold commercially, which is why it is largely absent from standard book trade records.

Written by Will Evans and officially licensed by Capcom, the novel expands on the Street Fighter II Turbo characters and themes in a way typical of early-90s game tie-in fiction. The cover was designed by Oliver Frey, a notable figure in British videogame and fantasy illustration.
